AXIS M3011 Overview

The AXIS M3011 (0284-001) fixed dome network camera is designed to provide discreet surveillance. The camera features a design that allows it to be mounted in drop ceilings. This recessed mounting allows the camera to have a very non-intrusive 3cm profile, making it ideal for rooms where the cameras need to be integrated into the environment. The camera has a diameter of 9cm in total, but provides sharp image capture. The AXIS M3011 fixed dome network camera also streams in two formats. The AXIS M3011 fixed dome network camera can send two streams at once. It can use the H.264 or Motion JPEG formats and each stream can be customized. The camera records in VGA resolution. It is also compatible with the MPEG-4 format. The camera can also detect when vandalism attempts are made. With built in motion detection, it can keep close watch on a scene. If someone attempts to paint the camera or to obstruct its view, the camera will detect it. The AXIS M3011 fixed dome network camera supports network security protocols including HTTPS encryption. The camera is also compatible with Quality of Service (QoS), allowing it to be used on the most sophisticated networks and to optimize bandwidth usage. This camera can be powered via PoE (Power over Ethernet). This means that the camera can be hooked up to the Ethernet with no separate source of power.
