ACTi KCM-5311 Overview

The KCM-5311 is a box surveillance camera that offers two-way audio capabilities and a resolution of 15 frames per second at 1920 x 1080. With its built-in f3.5-122.5 mm/F1.65 Megapixel DC iris zoom lens, the KCM-5311 can achieve up to 35x optical zoon as well as a horizontal viewing angle of 45.35° - 1.6°. Offering both day and night recording capabilities, the KCM-5311 utilizes a mechanical IR cut filter capable of achieving color recordings in light levels as low as 0.1 lux at F1.65 and black and white recordings in light as low as 0.05 lux at F1.65 with an IR sensitivity range of 700 to 1100 nm.

Featuring Power over Ethernet, or PoE, capabilities, the KCM-5311 surveillance camera can be used in even the most remote locations where it may otherwise be difficult or even possible to obtain power. The KCM-5311 also features a video motion detection system, which allows the user to remain continually aware of what is taking place within the surveillance area. If motion is detected, an email notification containing a snapshot of the area is automatically sent to the user.

Capable of operating in temperatures ranging from 14 °F to 122 °F and in humidity levels ranging from 10% to 85% relative humidity, the KCM-5311 can handle nearly any environment where a surveillance camera is needed. Weighing just 1.5 pounds, the KCM-5311 can be easily mounted virtually anywhere. With its option to choose between H.264, MPEG-4SP and MJPEG compressions with dual streaming capabilities, the KCM-5311 allows the user to communicate with individuals in the surveillance area while also creating quality recordings to suit a variety of purposes.
