The SecuritySpy video surveillance software application, developed by Ben Software, is a Macintosh based surveillance application designed to support network cameras or standard Macintosh compatible video devices. The software is available in 1, 4, 8, 16 and unlimited video channel options.

| Supported Devices | Security Spy supports multiple network cameras and video servers from over 35 different network video surveillance device manufacturers. For a complete list of currently known supported devices, please follow the link included below.
SecuritySpy – Support Network Cameras The SecuritySpy software is also capable of supporting Macintosh compatible video and audio input devices that connect via USB, FireWire or as a PCI Card. A product firmware update may be required for full software support. |
| Number of Channels | SecuritySpy software is available in 1, 4, 8, 16, and unlimited channel packages. Any license purchase, with the exception of the unlimited channel package, may be expanded upon. |
| Device Licenses | Device licensing is based on the number of video channels purchased (1, 4, 8, 16 or unlimited) and does not require device registration. A single SecuritySpy software license purchase will allow for the SecuritySpy software to operate on a single computer. This applies to all SecuritySpy software packages including multi video channel software options. |
| Minimum System Requirements | A Macintosh with G4, G5 or Intel processor, running Mac OS X 10.4.11 or later with 1GB RAM. SecuritySpy – Minimum System Requirements Calculator SecuritySpy is a Universal Binary application that runs native on both PowerPC and Intel Macintosh computers. SecuritySpy is compatible with OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard with one exception: the Java applet for MPEG-4 viewing currently does not work in Safari (although it does work in FireFox and Windows web browsers). Ben Software, developers of the SecuritySpy software, is working to resolve this. |
