Y-cam Knight Overview

The Y-cam Knight IP camera is an easy to install and easy to use wireless network camera featuring built-in infrared (IR) illuminators for viewing in complete darkness which makes it suitable for installation in  environments with or without light present. With built-in IR support, the Y-cam Knight is capable of projecting IR light up to 12m away from the camera. The Y-cam Knight is capable of supporting a maximum frame rate of 30 FPS at video resolutions up to 640x480. Video frame rate can be set to automatically adjust based on the amount of bandwidth that is available.

The Y-cam Knight supports MPEG4 and MJPEG compression and will also allow for remote mobile surveillance with the inclusion of 3GPP support. The Y-cam Knight is a full featured entry level IP camera that supports live video viewing on Windows or Mac based computer systems and is suitable for home and small business applications.
