Y-Cam Bullet Overview

The Y-Cam Bullet is an indoor and outdoor fixed IP network camera with the ability for day/night viewing with 12 built-in IR infrared illuminators (up to 50ft distance). The Y-Cam Bullet offers high quality video with frame rates of up to 30fps in 640x480 VGA max resolution.  The IR cut filters allow for full color video in daylight and monochrome video for low-light conditions. Audio support is provided with one-way or two-way audio.

The Y-Cam Bullet can be configured for wired or wireless networks on both PC and Mac. Power over Ethernet (PoE) support is provided if the network contains a PoE midspan or switch. The onboard SD slot allows for local recording on the camera and can record up to 8GB of data.

The IP66 rated metal housing allows the Y-Cam Bullet to be installed outdoors and protects the camera from water and low/high temperatures.

Y-Cam provides free setup software for both PC and Mac that allow you to configure the Y-Cam Bullet for your network. The free recording software is currently only PC compatible however we offer SecuritySpy software compatible with Mac's and Y-Cam cameras.

• MicroSD Slot for Onsite Recording - The built-in SD slot allows for up to 8GB of onsite recorded video when a recording PC is not present.
• Superior Image Quality - With support up to 640x480 resolution with 30fps, the Y-Cam Bullet offers exceptional image quality in both indoor and outdoor applications.
• Mobile Viewing - The Y-Cam Bullet supports mobile viewing in MJPEG and 3GPP. The camera can be viewed on mobile devices including the iPhone and BlackBerry. The Y-Cam Bullet can also be viewed via VLC-compatible streams including QuickTime and RealPlayer.
• Macintosh (Mac) and Linux Compatible - The Y-Cam Bullet is compatible with Apple Macintosh and Linux . Mac users can view live video and audio using QuickTime and manage the camera settings through their web browser. The Two-way Audio support is currently not available for Mac systems.
• Wide Range of Applications - The Y-Cam Bullet is ideal for any type of application including home monitoring,  small or medium sized businesses, parking lots, gas stations, warehouses, police stations and government offices.
• Free Recording Software - Y-Cam products, including the Y-Cam Bullet, come with free IP camera recording software. The Y-Cam software allows for live monitoring and recording for up to 36 Y-Cam cameras.
