Vivotek IP8151P Overview

The Vivotek IP8151P is a professional fixed network camera from Vivotek's Supreme Series. It is built around an advanced Sony "Exmor" 1.3 Megapixel CMOS image sensor. Combining this technology with a Vari-focal, P-iris Lens, the IP8151P provides some of the industry's highest quality images, whether it be in bright daylight, or dimly lit nighttime environments. WDR (wide dynamic range) enhancement provides crisp contrast, and high detail, enabling you to identify the most minute details in your surveillance area over the broadest range of lighting conditions.

The Sony back-illuminated CMOS sensor technology has been proven and refined in its use in digital cameras and camcorders. Its ability to capture detailed video in extreme bright and ultra low light conditions provide the Vivotek IP8151P with unparalleled capabilities and performance. At 1.3 megapixels, there is little detail that escapes notice, especially considering that the IP8151P captures it at a full 30fps and makes use of the H.264 video compression standard. These features enables you to not only capture high detail, but also allow you to do so even when objects are moving at high speed.

Complimenting the imaging technology, the IP8151P adds the precision of a P-iris lens. Driven by a stepping motor, a P-iris lens allows software control of its iris with utmost precision.
