Vivotek IP7161 Overview

The IP7161 fixed network camera is an advanced device suitable for covering challenging locations. The auto-adjusting iris allows the camera to provide clear images in conditions where the light levels are constantly changing, such as building entrances and parking garages. The IP7161 fixed network camera is also provided with a powerful zoom lens and captures images at a very high resolution. This makes the device ideal for surveilling very large areas where zooming in on activity may sometimes be necessary.

The IP7161 fixed network camera captures images at 1600x1200 pixel resolution. These high-definition images make it easy to catch all the action. This resolution is a full six times larger in its coverage area than is standard VGA resolution. This camera is equipped with a 4.5-10mm zoom lens, allowing the image to be magnified to catch the most distant action. The camera is also capable of sending two separate streams over the network.

The IP7161 fixed network camera is provided with a removable IR-cut filter. This allows the camera to provide crisp, clear images day or night. The monochrome infrared mode makes this camera suitable for 24-hour surveillance. The camera is also provided with powerful anti-tampering detection. If someone attempts to move the camera, defocus the lens or block the lens altogether, the camera will trigger an alarm signal. The IP7161 fixed network camera also saves bandwidth by reducing to a low frame rate when the scene is inactive and changing to a high frame rate when an alarm or other event is triggered.
