Vivotek IP7154 Overview

The IP7154 fixed network camera offers excellent performance in challenging conditions. Equipped with a removable IR-cut filter, the camera can be adapted to produce crystal clear images day or night. The camera is also equipped with progressive scan technology. This creates a very sharp image, even when the subjects in the frame are moving. This makes the camera ideal for monitoring locations such as parking garages and lots. It is also suitable for applications such as traffic control and for high security areas, such as banks.

The IP7154 fixed network camera is able to create clear images because progressive scan technology renders the odd and even lines of the frame simultaneously. This prevents the characteristic blurring of moving objects seen with interlaced image capture. These images can be compressed with the MPEG-4 or MJPEG codecs, allowing high-quality video to be streamed without taking up large amounts of network bandwidth.
