Vivotek FD8134 Overview

The Vivotek FD8134 day/night dome network IP camera offers large resolutions with high quality video. Resolutions up to 1280 x 800 at 30fps are supported with the 1 MP image sensor. Night viewing is also possible with the built-in IR Illuminators allowing sight in zero light conditions up to 15 meters. The FD8134 also includes a removable IR-cut filter for true day/night functionality.

With triple-codec support, the Vivotek FD8134 allows simultaneous streaming of H.264, MPEG-4 and MJPEG video compression methods. This allows users or software to receive multiple video streams in different resolutions, frame rates and image qualities. H.264 video compressions allows less bandwidth to be used on the network as it lowers file sizes of the video image.

The Vivotek FD8134 also supports Power over Ethernet (PoE). This allows for an easy installation as less cables are needed. Power and network connectivity can be combined in the Ethernet cable from any PoE supported injector, midspan or switch.

The built-in MicroSD card slot allows for onboard recording of video and snapshots. This is ideal for applications where a PC or recording software cannot be connected to the camera for recording and monitoring.

Support for ONVIF standard allows for simplified integration and enhanced interoperability.

The FD8134 also supports tamper detection allowing alerts when the camera video is blocked, redirected, defocused or is spray painted. This makes the FD8134 ideal for any high traffic area including transportation facilities, prisons, ATM's, banks, offices and retail stores.

The Vivotek FD8134 includes free PC based IP camera software for monitoring and recording up to 32 Vivotek devices.
