Vandal Proof Network Camera

A vandal proof or vandal resistant enclosure is capable of resisting violent attacks imposed upon it. A network camera may have a vandal proof enclosure accessory or may come already built into a vandal resistant enclosure. The benefit of having a vandal proof enclosure is that they may be installed at almost any location where a possible threat of damage may occur. This makes them useful for higher risk environments such as border crossings, banks or prisons. Vandal proof enclosures are usually constructed of metal or polycarbonate plastic. This does not make them impervious to all attacks of vandalism such as spray paint, heavy artillery fire or large explosions. Enclosures capable of defending against heavy artillery fire or a large explosion are usually referred to as bomb proof or explosion proof.
