Similar to each of the other powerful NVR’s in the VioStor family, the VS-2004L offers complex 2-bay network surveillance suitable for SOHO and home security applications. As the system maintains a Linux-based operating system it is fully equipped to support 4-channel H.264, MPEG-4 and M-JPEG functions. This enables real-time recordings from ONVIF-compliant IP cameras and surveillance devices.

Experience the proficiencies of monitoring up to 128 IP cameras from a multitude of QNAP NVR servers concurrently, without the need for any additional software applications. As an additional benefit, should a breach in security or other event occur, the Instant Alarm Icon will appear almost immediately and notify the administrator. The VS-2004L VioStor NVR is fully equipped to support all of the most utilized recording features, such as scheduled recording, alarm recording by multiple alarm events, alarm recording schedule, and pre-alarm and post-alarm recordings.

System administrators can readily define incident or alarm handling options with the advanced event management features. The QNAP VS-2004L NVR also facilitates the use of enhanced video search by intelligent video analytics (IVA), such as motion detection, foreign object, missing object, out of focus, and camera occlusion.
