Panasonic BL-C230A Overview

The Panasonic BL-C230A wireless network camera is easy to setup and use. It is a feature full camera and boasts H.264 video compression for excellent image without large bandwidth usage.

The Pan, Tilt and Digital zoom functions of the Panasonic BL-C230A enable you to monitor a wide area, with a horizontal viewing range of 58 degreees, and a vertical viewing angle of 42 degrees. You can control these functions remotely, or have the camera automatically cycle through preset positions, then return to a home position, or view you primarily want the camera to monitor.

The Panasonic BL-C230A's built in Sound and Motion detection allow you to trigger events when the camera detects sound or motion in your surveillance area. Have the camera record video, pan and tilt to a preset view, take a snapshot, upload images to an FTP site, or even send an email to you when one of its sensors detects activity at your site. External expansion ports enable you to add sensors or switches to further extend the detection functionality of your camera.

The Panasonic BL-C230A has a TV Connection functionality for compatible Panasonic VIERA televisions. This feature allows you to not only view the camera's video on your television, but also operate your camera with your TV remote! This is a terrific feature that eliminates the need to start up your pc to view your camera.
