NVR Software Overview

Network video recorder software (NVR software) allows for the monitoring and recording of IP cameras and video server or video encoder devices. NVR software is accessible through a local network and can typically be configured for remote access via the Internet. NVR software is available in different configurations based on the amount of cameras to be monitored and the software features required. NVR software is typically found bundled together with a network video recorder (NVR) device. However, NVR software can be purchased separately for installation on an NVR device or for installation on a Windows based computer system. This section will feature NVR software only.
