D-Link DCS-930L Overview

The D-link DCS-930L is a great entry level network camera. It has many features you would expect in a compact network camera, but is simple and quick to set up. Wireless N capability provides great range and fast connection to your network. A built in microphone allows you to monitor audio, so you can hear, along with see what you are monitoring.

The DCS-930L is "mydlink-enabled", allowing you to log in to your mydlink.com account to view your device from wherever you have an internet connection. While other cameras allow you to do so, the D-link software eliminates the need to set up port-forwarding and having to memorize the internet address of each of your cameras. There is even a mydlink iPhone app for viewing from wherever you need to be. Altogether it is a simple intuitive solution that enables you to quickly setup and begin using your new camera.

If you are more hands-on, the D-Link DCS 930L also comes with D-Link D-ViewCam software that allows you to manage your camera, and access all of its features. For example, you can have it detect motion, trigger email alert notifications, record video to a hard drive locally or to a Network Attached Storage device, and even schedule when to do so.
