The D-Link® Fixed Dome Network Camera (DCS-6110) is a surveillance camera known for its high performance in situations requiring professional surveillance and indoor security applications. Some of the features that make the DCS-6110 unique are the VGA Progressive CMOS sensor, which provide excellent picture quality and the built-in Samba client, which allow images to be taken and transferred to a network storage device. The DCS-6110, with its PoE support, needs only one Ethernet cable for receiving power and data, which allows you to take pictures in places where there's no power outlet. The fixed dome allows discreet monitoring, less tampering and the ability to connect to many external devices including switches, IR-sensors and alarm relays, a feature that makes it perfect for business.
Video Quality
The D-Link® Fixed Dome Network Camera provides the highest quality bandwidth efficient compression formats by supporting dual streaming of both MJPEG (motion JPEG) and MPEG-4 simultaneously. MJPEG is ideal for monitoring detailed situations with the excellent file integrity while the MPEG-4 video is perfect for low bandwidth situations due to the small size of files. The DCS-6110 can be configured with D-ViewCam 2.0 surveillance software networks. With the 3GPP Mobile Surveillance support, you can view your video from any compatible mobile phone upon installation of a 3GPP player. This feature is perfect when you're on the go, as it doesn't require a computer. You mobile device, however, must be internet ready.
Convenient Management Software
The D-Link® Fixed Dome Network Camera (DCS-6110) includes D-Link D-ViewCam management software that allows you to operate up to 32-network camera while also providing you with the ability to set recording schedules, set email alerts and set the motion detector to transfer data right to your hard drive. Version 2.0 of this software is available as a free download at the D-Link Tech Support Site. To make the management even simpler, you can upload your home or business's floor plan along with a detailed layout of the location of your cameras.
