This Securicam Network Camera supports 802.3af PoE, and along with a PoE enabled switch, which allows it to receive both data and power from an RJ-45 Ethernet cable, eliminating the need to have a power source nearby. An extra touch of security is added with the built-in microphone, 2-way audio and audio-out port. All you need to do is connect a speaker to the audio-out port and you can communicate remotely to anyone that's nearby the camera. Securicam Pan/Tilt/PoE DCS-5610 provides compression formats that are both bandwidth efficient and high quality for viewing. This is done due to the supportability of both Motion JPEG (MJPEG) and MPEG-4 formats. Each of these formats provides their own qualities necessary for your surveillance. The MPEG-4 video uses compressed files that are better for low bandwidth networks or longer recording times while the Motion JPEG, with their excellent file integrity, are perfect for when you're monitoring detailed situations. The DCS-5610 also supports both 4x digital zoom and 2.6x optical zoom, allowing you to view your video in close-up detail. With resolution of 640x480 at 30fps, you can always count on high-quality recordings.

Being on the go will not prevent you from always being able to view your video feed. With the 3GPP Mobile Surveillance support, you can watch it from your PDA, internet-ready mobile phone or 3GPP player without the use of a computer. Also included with the Securicam Pan/Tilt/ PoE DCS-5610 is a web-based interface as well as D-Link ViewCam software, which allows your to send email alerts, manage up to 32 cameras, set recording schedules and adjust your motion detector settings. To make the process even simpler, you can upload a floor plan of your building, showing where all the cameras are located.
