AXIS Q2901-E PT Overview

The outdoor-ready, bullet-style AXIS Q2901-E PT Mount delivers thermal imaging in 336x256 resolution. Mounted on a pan-tilt motor, the camera can cover larger areas. AXIS Q2901-E PT Mount supports up to six temperature alarm zones that can be used to trigger an alarm. It offers two kinds of alarms triggered by a deviation of the temperature: if the temperature goes beyond a set limit, or if it increases too rapidly. The spot temperature functionality is used to view the temperature of a particular area. Isothermal palettes highlight temperature-spans in the image, visualizing hot spots to identify overheated equipment or areas AXIS Q2901-E PT Mount offers two kinds of alarms triggered by a deviation of the temperature: if the temperature goes above or below a set limit, or if the temperature increases too rapidly. The camera can detect the temperature of an object between-40 °C to 550 °C (-40 °F to 1022 °F). To reach an unobstructed field of view (360°) and a ground-to-sky view of 135°, you can mount the PT mount thermal camera on AXIS T99A11 Positioning Unit. This capability is used to view the temperature of a particular area of the image. The emissivity can also be adjusted (depending on the material characteristics) to get a more precise reading. Used as a visual aid for an operator. For a list of emissivity for different material. Isothermal imaging makes it possible to configure highlighted temperature-spans in the image. They help to define which temperature corresponds to which color. The Lower limit denotes the temperature where the colored part of the palette will start and all temperatures above this limit will stand out. AXIS Q2901-E PT Mount is easy to install and can easily be integrated with existing security systems. The following installation video shows how to mount the camera on an pan/tilt head.
