Axis Q1921-E Overview

The AXIS Q1921-E thermal network camera is an outdoor-ready solution for difficult monitoring situations. The camera produces images by heat, eliminating the issues that come with monitoring in areas where low-light or no-light conditions are the norm. The device can be fitted with a variety of lenses, changing the amount of area covered and allowing for flexible options. The device is also easy to install and comes with a heater for the window, which allows the device to function correctly in cold conditions.

The AXIS Q1921-E thermal network camera is ready to use out of the box. The camera can provide excellent coverage, even in very cold conditions. The camera provides video in the H.264 codec, a form of compression which allows the camera to provide very clear images with a minimum of network bandwidth usage. The AXIS Q1921-E thermal network camera also has multiple lens options. This allows it to be used in situations where a wider or narrower field of view is required. The camera can transmit two separate streams at once, each with its own color palate options. It can also transmit in the Motion JPEG format.

The AXIS Q1921-E thermal network camera is provided with advanced networking capabilities. It supports Quality of Service (QoS), which allows tight controls over network bandwidth. The camera is also capable of using both the IPv4 and IPv6 addressing protocols, as well as advanced security protocols.
