AXIS Q1910 Overview

The AXIS Q1910 thermal network camera allows images to be captured in most any situation. Provided with advanced thermal imaging technology, the AXIS Q1910 thermal network camera cuts through darkness, light fog, haze and dust. This camera is suitable for high-security monitoring in situations where light levels cannot be counted on and where the field of view sometimes goes pitch black. The AXIS Q1910 thermal network camera also has advanced networking features that make it suitable for use on the most complex and advanced networks.

The AXIS Q1910 thermal network camera uses the H.264 video compression codec. This allows the camera to provide very high-quality images while consuming a minimum amount of network bandwidth. This level of compression is 80% more efficient than the common Motion JPEG format, though the Motion JPEG format is also available on this camera. The camera can transmit two streams at once, each in a different format. The camera also has the ability to detect motion and audio in the area being monitored.

The AXIS Q1910 thermal network camera is compatible with Power over Ethernet technology. This allows the camera to be powered and to receive its network connection over the same cable, vastly reducing the complications and expenses involved with locating and installing the camera. This camera also supports network security protocols including HTTPs encryption. IEEE 802.1x authentication and IP address filtering.
