AXIS M3114-R Overview

The AXIS M3114-R network camera is designed specifically for mobile video surveillance applications including buses, trains, subway cars and emergency vehicles. The AXIS M3114-R comes encased within an enclosure designed to protect against dust and water, and has the ability to withstand harsh conditions including vibrations, shocks, bumps and temperature fluctuations. With the inclusion of an active tampering alarm, detection of camera tampering attempts such as view blocking or spray-painting is also possible.

The AXIS M3114-R features support for HDTV 720p video streaming at full frame rates and has the ability to adapt quickly to changes in lighting levels. The AXIS M3114-R also includes support for progressive scanning which provides clearer images of moving objects. Additional features of the AXIS 3114-R include multi-stream support of H.264 and MJPEG video streams as well as support for PoE (Power over Ethernet) which will allow for easy camera installation.
