The AXIS M1031-W (0300-004) network camera has features that make it ideal for any security or surveillance application. The camera not only has an infrared motion sensor built into it, it can also provide a means to communicate with anyone in the camera’s immediate area via a two-way audio connection. The AXIS M1031-W network camera is also equipped with its own LED light, which can throw light onto a dark scene if the motion detector is triggered, allowing for instant video documentation of the area. This camera is surprisingly easy to install and can work with the latest network setups and video formats.

The AXIS M1031-W network camera can record in several different formats, including MPEG-4 Part 2, Motion JPEG and H.264. It can provide multiple streams in these formats, and each individual stream can be configured separately from the others. The camera is equipped with a passive infrared sensor, which provides the motion detection feature. The two-way radio can be used to listen in on the area where the camera is located or can be used to communicate directly back and forth from that area and the control room.
