The AXIS 232D+ (0253-001) network dome camera can handle high security monitoring. The device is provided with a tough dome that conceals a camera fully capable of continuous panning. The AXIS 232D+ network dome camera is also capable of performing a continuous guard tour, with the capability to handle 50 positions in total. This camera can be controlled with a joystick and pans 360 degrees. The powerful zoom features ensure the ability to get close to the action in the monitoring area.

The AXIS 232D+ network dome camera can provide surveillance in day or night conditions. It is provided with a removable IR-cut filter that enhances image clarity during the day. At night, this filter can be removed or set to retract automatically, providing crisp black and white images of very dark scenes. The AXIS 232D+ network dome camera is suitable for monitoring facilities such as campuses, prisons, public transit stations and shopping centers. The Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) of the AXIS 232D+ network dome camera ensures that images are crisp, even in rapidly-shifting lighting conditions.

The Application Programming Interface (API) on the AXIS 232D+ network dome camera allows for the creation of custom applications, which can be loaded into the camera’s flash memory. The device is also capable of supporting advanced network protocols, such as Quality of Service (QoS) and HTTPs encryption. This camera is suitable for all indoor monitoring applications.
