Better Image Detail with Larger Area Coverage
Thanks to its 1.3 Megapixel resolution, the AXIS 216MFD is able to provide larger area coverage than traditional analog cameras, up to three times the area coverage. A bigger surveillance area means the need for less cameras to cover the same amount of space.
Higher resolution also allows for more detail to be contained in images. The more pixels used to create a digital image, the more information can be transmitted. The AXIS 216MFD provides crystal clear images that let you know everything that is happening in the surveillance area.
Tamper Resistant Casing
The AXIS 216MFD network camera also comes with tamper-resistant mounting. With the camera’s tilt and rotation abilities it can be placed on any surface, wall or ceiling while still providing coverage of the surveillance area that you need and out of the way of any prying hands.
Simple Installation
Quick and easy to install, the AXIS 216MFD can be placed anywhere you need it. Its rotating and tilting camera and can be placed in any location and the camera adjusted to get the area coverage you need. Its Power over Ethernet technology with IEEE 802.3af also eliminates the need for a power outlet. Power is provided to the camera through its Ethernet network connection. This gives even more latitude in where the camera is placed.
Advanced Event Management
Multi-window video motion detection and audio detection alarm triggers are part of the AXIS 216MFD’s functionality. This network camera also includes I/O ports allowing you to connect the camera to third-party appliances for a number of event management purposes. Third party relays can be connected and configured to turn lights on or off or open/close doors based upon alarm sensors, for example.
