The AXIS 216FD-V (0268-004) fixed dome network camera can deliver razor-sharp images in normal and low light conditions. The camera is provided with anti-tampering features that make it suitable for the highest security areas, including prisons, government installations, schools and banks. This camera is easy to install and the lens can be moved to accommodate any needed angle.

The AXIS 216FD-V fixed dome network camera includes a very durable transparent cover that is resistant to damage by physical attack. The camera is also provided with a metal base. The technology in the camera is designed to provide a monitoring solution that is flexible and powerful. The AXIS 216FD-V fixed dome network camera provides two streams at once and uses the MPEG-4 and Motion JPEG formats. The camera also allows for two-way audio, allowing the operator to talk with people in the zone monitored. The camera also detects the presence of audio in the surveillance zone.

The AXIS 216FD-V fixed dome network camera is designed to be mounted on a ceiling or a wall. The lens can be panned, tilted and adjusted horizontally to meet any monitoring requirements. The AXIS 216FD-V fixed dome network camera is also equipped with PoE—Power over Ethernet—capability. This allows the AXIS 216FD-V fixed dome network camera to draw its power directly from its network connection, eliminating the need for separate electrical wiring in the camera’s location.
