Its rotating and tilting camera and can be placed in any location and the camera adjusted to get the area coverage you need. Its Power over Ethernet technology with IEEE 802.3af also eliminates the need for a power outlet. Power is provided to the camera through its Ethernet network connection. This gives even more latitude in where the camera is placed.
Multi-window video motion detection and audio detection alarm triggers are part of the AXIS 216MFD’s functionality. This network camera also includes I/O ports allowing you to connect the camera to third-party appliances for a number of event management purposes. Third party relays can be connected and configured to turn lights on or off or open/close doors based upon alarm sensors, for example.
