High durability with professional video surveillance. The AXIS 209FD-R uses a progressive scan CMOS image sensor for superior image quality over traditional interlaced image sensors. Simultaneous MPEG-4/Motion JPEG video streams give you power and control over your images, as well as maximizing bandwidth efficiency. Frame rates go up to 30 frames per second in all resolutions up to 640 x 480 VGA.

Tamper Proof Casing

For added security the mounting of the camera is tamper proof so it cannot be messed with. Should someone attempt to tamper with the camera, it has a tamper-trigger alarm sensor to notify you immediately of what is happening.

The AXIS 209FD-R also includes video motion detection for enhanced event management capabilities. Some of its alarm functionalities include automatic uploads over FTP, HTTP and e-mail upon alarm trigger, so that you can see exactly what is going on while it happens no matter where you are.

Simple Installation
