The many marvels of Y-cam were featured in the May 2011 issue of Computer Shopper in the “What’s New in Networking” section.
Seasoned reviewer of the distinguished UK – based publication, Barry de la Rosa, carefully scrutinized the Y-cam Bullet Black as he tested and compared the model against the Solwise model. Upon the conclusion of his study, Barry proclaimed the Y-cam to be, “a well built IP camera with all the features we’d expect,” he later went on to add, “(the camera) perfectly designed for outdoor use.” Barry noted a particular likeness for the “clear and comprehensive manual.” Over the years, Y-cam has matured their manuals and tutorials so that their consumers can effortlessly configure and begin using their products.
While Barry’s review categorized the Y-cam Bullet Black with the Solwise model, staff at Y-cam felt his comparison to be unfounded, citing their camera is aimed at the security conscious consumer who demands a feature rich and easy – to –use camera.
