The Barry Family Campus is home to more than twenty-five Jewish community buildings, including the Talmud Torah learning center and daycare. In order to keep pace with the communities ‘expectations for health and security’ it became necessary to update the outdated and obsolete security infrastructure.
While it had been seen as cost effective to continue to utilize some of the existing analog security cameras in order to effectively future proof the security system, it was necessary to augment the system with IP network equipment. Axis surveillance equipment was used to configure three Axis 291 IU server racks complete with Axis 243Q Blade servers, two Axis 215 PTZ cameras and one Axis 212 PTZ network camera.
After the induction of the newly augmented security system, the Barry Family Campus security administrators now feel confident in their ability to ensure the safety of the nearly 1,500 people who pass through the center on a daily basis.
