World renowned leaders in the surveillance industry, VIVOTEK, proved to the world that they are once again leading the charge as they announced the arrival of two brand new network video recorder (NVR) solutions for the VIVOTEK camera lineup; the NR8201 (4 channel) and then NR8301 (8 channel). Not only does each of the new solutions support the 6000-7000 series, they also support the latest H.264 8000 series.

The most noteworthy features of the new solutions include the incorporated gateway, Power over Ethernet (PoE) ports and the DHCP server. The inclusion of an onboard gateway and firewall enable the camera data to remain separate from other network traffic. Not only does this provide the benefit of added security, but it also helps to ensure more simplified network management and reduced network traffic.
