Earlier this month, provider of IP based security solutions, NUUO, attended the ISC West trade show in Las Vegas where they showcased the Central Management System (CMS) and Maniconsole IP+.

The Central Management System is an advanced NVR based security application perfect for large scale business operations. The NUUO CMS is equipped to manage each of the cameras, I/O devices, POS, LPR and Access Control contained in any NUUO solution. The intuitive application was created to ease the surveillance process by providing security personnel with a wide array of features and functions designed to quicken the management process. The real-time alarm management feature is capable of supporting 45 alarms functions, alarm status, data mining and 6 video analytic events.

At the symposium, NUUO introduced additional products in their impressive NVR arsenal; the NVRmini 2, NVR Titan and SCB 7100. The co-star of the day, the NVR Titan offers live viewing and a 360 degree panoramic view. Cardy Huang, NUUO’s marketing director described the camera as “highly stable” adding that “with its Linux – Embedded system, clients do not need to worry about virus attacks.” As a matter of convenience and flexibility, the NVR Titan supports Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari on both Mac and Windows computers.

Also in the Linux – Embedded line-up, the NVRmini 2 is also incapable of virus attacks and provides ‘stable and high quality monitoring and recording performance.’ Aside from the ability to install, configure, monitor and playback camera feeds from a web based interface, users are also provided with the ability to review real-time video from an Android, iPhone, iPad or Blackberry.
