QNAP Launches Vmobile Version 1.0.3

Internationally recognized security system manufacturer QNAP Security recently launched the latest version of their already popular Vmobile network surveillance application. Vmobile 1.0.3 is specifically engineered for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch. The latest compilation comes after demands to improve resolution to CIF (iPhone, 320×240) and iPad display modes across all channels. Additionally, VioStor NVR accounts can now attach to an unlimited amount of NVR and IP cameras almost effortlessly over the 3G and 4G networks as well as WiFi. It is hoped that the enhanced management functions and remote access updates will provide users with the peace of mind they need to know that they are using a quality application.

The latest Vmobile suite is capable of supporting many monitoring modes, including sequential display mode. Furthermore, it capitalizes on the ability to take advantage of PTZ and preset position control, many new alarm notifications and snapshots and enables users to configure channels and notifications based on any number of events.

QNAP Releases New Version of QMobile

Internationally recognized manufacturer of Networked Attached Storage (NAS) and Network Video Recorder (NVR) devices, QNAP Systems recently announced the arrival of an essential update to the popular QMobile application. QMobile is known as the world’s premier multimedia player application for Apple devices such as the iPod touch, iPad and iPhone. Vivotek Boasts New Network Video Recorders

World renowned leaders in the surveillance industry, VIVOTEK, proved to the world that they are once again leading the charge as they announced the arrival of two brand new network video recorder (NVR) solutions for the VIVOTEK camera lineup; the NR8201 (4 channel) and then NR8301 (8 channel). Not only does each of the new solutions support the 6000-7000 series, they also support the latest H.264 8000 series.

The most noteworthy features of the new solutions include the incorporated gateway, Power over Ethernet (PoE) ports and the DHCP server. The inclusion of an onboard gateway and firewall enable the camera data to remain separate from other network traffic. Not only does this provide the benefit of added security, but it also helps to ensure more simplified network management and reduced network traffic.

NUUO Displays NVR’s at ISC West

Earlier this month, provider of IP based security solutions, NUUO, attended the ISC West trade show in Las Vegas where they showcased the Central Management System (CMS) and Maniconsole IP+.

The Central Management System is an advanced NVR based security application perfect for large scale business operations. The NUUO CMS is equipped to manage each of the cameras, I/O devices, POS, LPR and Access Control contained in any NUUO solution. The intuitive application was created to ease the surveillance process by providing security personnel with a wide array of features and functions designed to quicken the management process. The real-time alarm management feature is capable of supporting 45 alarms functions, alarm status, data mining and 6 video analytic events.

At the symposium, NUUO introduced additional products in their impressive NVR arsenal; the NVRmini 2, NVR Titan and SCB 7100. The co-star of the day, the NVR Titan offers live viewing and a 360 degree panoramic view. Cardy Huang, NUUO’s marketing director described the camera as “highly stable” adding that “with its Linux – Embedded system, clients do not need to worry about virus attacks.” As a matter of convenience and flexibility, the NVR Titan supports Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari on both Mac and Windows computers.

Also in the Linux – Embedded line-up, the NVRmini 2 is also incapable of virus attacks and provides ‘stable and high quality monitoring and recording performance.’ Aside from the ability to install, configure, monitor and playback camera feeds from a web based interface, users are also provided with the ability to review real-time video from an Android, iPhone, iPad or Blackberry.

Gran Casino de Talca Integrates NUUO CMS Solution

Vivotek NR8201 and NR8301 PoE NVR’s Now Available!
