Y-cam Releases New MultiLive for Mac App

Proving that they are not just the ‘flavour of the week’, the makers of Y-cam have just launched their updated version of the increasingly popular MultiLive for Mac app. The relaunch comes after their desire to solidify their place in the industry with the hopes to prove that the Y-Cam is the only IP camera Mac users will ever need.

Many people will remember the opening for MultiLive testers in April. Following the MultiLive for Mac version 2 beta testing, Y-Cam implemented the suggestions and feedback received to improve the abilities of the application. Computer Active Reviews Y-cam Bullet

The Y-cam Bullet network surveillance camera has once again found itself basking in the media spotlight. Technology gurus at UK based publication Computer Active are singing the latest recognition and praises.

Expert reviewer, Anthony Dhanendran put the Y-cam Bullet to the test, comparing it to the EyeSpy247 camera. While Mr.Dhanendran and his staff mentioned a few ‘hiccups’ during their stringent testing phase, ultimately they were pleased with the security capabilities of the Y-cam Bullet, calling it a “good home security camera” and rating it 4 out of 5 stars.

In his review, Anthony noted a particular liking for the cameras ‘strong metal and glass protection’ and its professional aesthetic appeal. Y-cam Needs Mac Beta Testers For The Latest Version of MultiLive for Mac

Exciting news for Y-cam owners who use a Mac. Y-cam recently announced their search for beta testers to download and install the most recent version of MultiLive for Mac, and then after testing the application provide their input and feedback. The hope of this beta testing is to make the application more user friendly by uncovering any issues, errors or problems that may exist.

MultiLive for Mac was released a few months ago, and rides on the widespread success and popularity of the earlier version of MultiLive for Windows. Y-cam has recently re-designed the free software application to include a better UI and greater fluidity. Those chosen to be beta testers will have the distinct advantage of using the new application before it is released to the general public next month.

Y-cam Blackberry App Now Available

Blackberry users rejoiced on Tuesday March 15^th 2011 when Y-cam officially announced the release of MultiLive for Blackberry. The brand new application enables Y-cam users to effortlessly monitor up to eight Y-cams directly from their Blackberry handhelds. The application comes as the fourth launch of the MultiLive series, the others being available on iPhone, Android and Symbian devices.

MultiLive for Blackberry works to enhance the mobility that Y-Cam users have come to expect from such a great system. Spring is looking good for Y-cam. Firstly, they received rave reviews from publishers of all things technology, Geekanoids, and most recently received a feature spot in Mac Users “Products that caught our eye.”

In the periodical, Mac Users focused on the newly launched Y-cam MultiLive for Mac. The feature cites a concise understanding for the complexity of a security solution. A proper solution for any security or surveillance issue involves more than just a camera. Users and security administrators require easy-to-use recording software with simplified interfaces allowing the ability to quickly and efficiently review video captures and easy-to-navigate recording functions.
