About Bosch

Bosch entered the American security and surveillance market in 2002 with the Bosch Security Systems division. Initial security product offerings included CCTV analog devices and other tradition security devices. Since then the Bosch product line has grown to now also include IP network video surveillance products including IP cameras, video encoders, NVRs and IP network video surveillance software.

In 1886 the “Workshop for Precision Mechanics and Electrical Engineering” was founded by Robert Bosch. Today, the Robert Bosch GmbH company has grown to include over 275 subsidiaries. Bosch Security Systems Inc. was established for the creation of security products that include CCTV analog, IP network video surveillance and life safety solutions. Bosch security and surveillance products have been installed globally in educational, government, correctional facility, retail and casino markets.
