The SecuritySpy network video surveillance software application, developed by Ben Software, is designed to provide network video monitoring and recording software for IP network cameras and video servers from over 35 different network surveillance device manufacturers. In a primarily Windows based industry, the SecuritySpy software provides network video surveillance application support to users of Macintosh based computer systems.

Established in 2000, Ben Software was founded by Ben Bird with the sole purpose of providing high quality, video related software applications for Macintosh computer systems. Ben Software first developed the BTV video capture software before moving on to develop the SecuritySpy network video surveillance software application in 2004. Ben Software is based out of London, UK and provides Macintosh based software applications worldwide.

Current Technologies:

The SecuritySpy software provides support for multiple IP camera and video server devices from over 35 different network video surveillance device manufacturers. SecuritySpy software also supports Macintosh compatible audio/video devices that connect via USB and FireWire connections as well as audio/video devices that connect via a PCI card.
